Services
The Mount Pleasant Building Department provides building, heating and electrical inspection services. The Department provides an orderly examination and overview of all construction projects throughout the Village and includes both plan review and onsite inspections for all residential projects. This includes the construction of new homes, additions to existing homes, remodeling, sheds, garages and swimming pools, etc. and encompasses building construction, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and electrical inspections.
The Building Department also provides onsite building construction, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and electrical inspections for all commercial and industrial buildings, working closely with the State Commercial Building Inspector assigned to Racine County.
Inspections are governed by State codes and Village ordinances and are enforced consistently for each project.
