Sewer Utility

The residential Sewer Utility quarterly rate is a set charge, therefore not based on water usage. Quarterly bills are mailed on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Payments are due the last day of the following month. A 3% late payment fee is charged on all current billings if a payment is not made by the due date. Failure to receive a bill does not exempt customers from late payment fees. This charge is applicable to all customers.

Payment Options

The Mount Pleasant Sewer Utility in spring 2025 transitioned to a new online payment system that offers updated options such as automatic payment via credit card, and paperless billing. This new system by BS&A Software replaces the Point & Pay system the Sewer Utility previously used to accept online payments.

NOTE: The new online system does not affect customers who are already enrolled in ACH auto pay with the Sewer Utility. The automatic payment of your Sewer Utility bills through ACH will continue without disruption if you are already enrolled.

Pay Online

Use the BS&A online system to make one-time, or automatically reoccurring, payments with a credit card or electronic check. A convenience fee is charged for online payments.

Customers can use the same online system to look up the amount due on their Sewer Utility bill.

Tired of paper bills showing up in your mailbox? The new online system also lets customers sign up for paperless billing. If you sign up, please remember to turn off paperless billing if you sell the property.

ACH Auto Pay

Save time and avoid late fees and convenience charges. Set up auto payments from a checking or savings account. Payments are automatically deducted from a checking or savings account each quarter so you never have to worry about getting a late fee on a sewer bill. There are no convenience fees. Fill out the ACH Form (PDF) and mail to the Mount Pleasant Sewer Utility to enroll in ACH auto payments.

Remember to discontinue ACH auto payments if you move so you don't pay the sewer bills for your former home. To discontinue the auto payments, please contact the Sewer Utility through email at sewerbilling@mtpleasantwi.gov, or call (262) 664-7800.

Pay by Phone

Dial (262) 672-4255 to pay by phone with a credit card. A convenience fee is charged for phone payments.
