Owner and founder Lisa Rivers opened this restaurant in summer 2024 with the notion of combining home-made barbecue and bakery. The brisket and pork butt is smoked on-site, and the pies, cheesecakes and other baked goods are made in-house. Mrs. Rivers is open 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (closed Mondays). Lisa said it’s not uncommon to serve brisket sandwiches to third shifters who stop by for breakfast, and house-made omelets to the lunch crowd.
