Sex Offender Residency Board

Responsibility

The Village regulates how closely certain Sex Offenders can reside to schools, recreation trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, parks, and child care centers; this is called the residency ordinance. (Read the Ordinance) Offenders are exempt from the residency ordinance for certain listed reasons, including the ability to seek an exemption from the sexual offender residency board.
