Overview

The mission of the Village of Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation Division is to provide for the health, inspiration and recreation opportunities for the people of Mount Pleasant through the creation and maintenance of high-quality programs, facilities, and special community events. Dedication and preservation of natural resources will ensure the opportunity for high-quality leisure experiences for generations to come.

The Village of Mount Pleasant presently operates fourteen parks totaling over 300 acres of parkland offering a wide variety of recreational activities. Our parks contain baseball diamonds, trails, shelters, and picnic facilities. Generally, parks are available on a first-come, first served basis.

On Wednesday, January 14, the Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation Department will begin accepting 2026 reservation requests for private gatherings at Village park facilities. Both Village residents and non-residents can reserve facilities for private gatherings.

In-person reservations can be made on January 14 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Parks & Recreation Building, located at 7330 Old Spring Street. Starting at 1:00 p.m. on January 14, reservations can only be submitted online through MyRec. The online reservation system also is available to the public through a kiosk in the lobby of Mount Pleasant Village Hall at 8811 Campus Drive.

To reserve a facility online through MyRec, you must first create an account.  Questions regarding MyRec account access, registrations, and reservations should be directed to the Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation office at parksandrec@mtpleasantwi.gov or 262-664-7840.

Picnic Shelter Calendars

The village requires a household account created in MyRec to request facilities and register for programs. Citizens can create their account by visiting http://mountpleasantwi.myrec.com and clicking the “New Account” button. Once the household account is created and members of the household are added to the account, family members can log in to explore programs, register for available activities, and make reservation requests. Citizens without an account still have the option to explore program and facility offerings. We encourage citizens to check out this new site and create their account.
