Parks & Recreation Building

Located at 7330 Old Spring Street, across from the Pike River Pathway trail head, the Parks & Recreation Building is a great place to hold a small meeting, birthday party, bridal or baby shower. The building has a community room which accommodates approximately 48 people seated and a kitchen area. 

Room rental rates are determined by residency and group designation outlined in the building fee schedule. Most users will fall in the Group III rates.

New Parks and Recreation Registration and Facilities Software

The Village of Mount Pleasant is excited to announce a transition to a new Parks and Recreation registration software called MyRec beginning February 6, 2023.

This software provides a more convenient online registration and online payment option for registrants. Information regarding activities, classes, sports, and youth leagues will be easily accessible. Additionally, MyRec allows citizens to search for and submit reservation requests for community facilities conveniently online, including pavilions, shelters, and the new Parks and Recreation Community Room. The site is mobile-friendly, which allows users to enjoy all of the MyRec features directly from their smartphone or tablet.

The village requires a household account created in MyRec to request facilities and register for programs. Citizens can create their account by visiting http://mountpleasantwi.myrec.com and clicking the “New Account” button. Once the household account is created and members of the household are added to the account, family members can log in to explore programs, register for available activities, and make reservation requests. Citizens without an account still have the option to explore program and facility offerings. We encourage citizens to check out this new site and create their account.

The village hopes this transition allows for more flexibility and a more convenient Parks and Recreation registration and reservation experience for our community.

Facility Rental Categories

Rental fees are determined by the group that the applicant/organization fall into. Most renters will fall in Group III. An alcohol permit is available for $15.

Group I

Local neighborhood associations, senior enrichment, local neighborhood centers and other volunteer-based local community groups which are not engaged in for-profit or fundraising activities. 

Local Group I organizations are able to use the community room free of charge (Weekdays 9am-4pm) once a week for up to 4 hours. If requests go beyond 4 hours, a $10 per hour fee will apply.

Group II

Local non-profit organizations which are service, civic, recreational and/or educational in nature; not engaged in for-profit or fundraising activities.

Group III

  • Private individual or group events, such as parties, business meetings.
  • For-profit businesses or organizations.
  • Non-profit organizations, which are other than, service, civic, recreational and/or educational in nature, or non-local non-profit organizations.
  • Non-profit organizations, neighborhood associations, neighborhood centers, other volunteer-based community groups and private individuals who rent the facility to engage in for-profit or fundraising activities.
