Tax Incremental District No. 4

Overview

This mixed-use district has helped bring jobs and a variety of businesses and services to the land south of Highway 20 near Interstate 94. Since the district was created, the area has sprouted a hotel, an international company’s U.S. headquarters, and professional suites with a wide variety of service companies and offices. Brookfield real estate investor MLG continues to market 75 acres for future development after advancing several previous buildings in the district.

Creation and Closing

The TID was approved in August 2015 and, according to state statutes, can remain open until 2036, at the latest.
